The problems in Hicksville have to do with crime. I dont care what those dated stats say, I see Hicksville changing before my eyes. There's grafitti everywhere. Guys walking around in blue and white (MS-13). Gang tags are all over the place for MS and SUR, even in the library!
It's the beginning of changes in the area that ARE NOT FOR THE BETTER. Unfortunately some people just want to ignore the changes and let the problem fester until it gets worse. Stuff like the murder in the gas station will become more common. And yes, there's a good chance illegal aliens are involved in this. Their behavior isn't exactly lawful in the 1st place, and research gangs like MS-13 and SUR and you'll find that they are brought here mostly by illegals.
Sadly the Town of Oyster Bay has been a complete failure like most towns. They have failed to get to the root of the problems in Hicksville, which have to do with the illegal apartments with 20-30 ppl living in one house. They have a whole ton of them by the Broadway Mall. But go ahead, just ignore the issue and throw the race card around. It won't help anything except avoid the real issue.

Ahh so when the actual facts such as the crime stats don't meet your previous notions then the crime stats don't mean anything...

Is Hicksville perfect? No. Does it have its share of problems? yes. However, to act like its becoming this crime infected place simply doesn't match the actual facts.

As someone else mentioned, their colors are blue and white. If you see Central American looking young men wearing blue and white clothes and hats, they either are or wanna be MS-13. I saw at least 6 guys in groups of 2 in that mall with those colors. This is Long Island, folks, not Corona. There is reason to be concerned.

Well, in the case of Latino gangs, you can eliminate about half of their membership by getting rid of illegal aliens.

Hey, who needs facts when you've got opinions? We are foolish to put our trust in the law enforcement professionals, the FBI and the Department of Justice, as well as the statisticians with college degrees who compile these sort of things. They couldn't possibly know as much about the situation as some random guy on the internet. Thank god I've seen the light, I'll refrain from posting any concrete, researched data on these forums in the future....who the heck needs it?

No one is talking about the real issue in Hicksville, however. The real danger, and what's killing this town is that it has been INVADED by American citizens who are faking ambiguous "mental disabilities" so they can live the easy life on government subsidies....paid for by all of us hardworking TAXPAYERS!! Now, I don't mean to criticize the people who are seriously disabled and legitimately cannot work, who need the money to live, that would be totally wrong....but the element I'm speaking of is much different and they're just taking advantage of us....and they're DANGEROUS! I've seen it with my own two eyes, you people need to wake up! These welfare queens walk around the streets, harrass women and take voyueristic pictures of teenage girls in the malls. You can usually spot them easily because they become nervous around non-whites and they have a tendancy to become fixated on low flying airplanes and pine trees. This is not what I want Long Island to become, so I'm taking a stand. I am sick of having my taxes wasted so these scumbags can gallivant around once proud and prosperous towns like Hicksville. Hicksville isn't on that list, even if it was - this is just some anti-immigration website, which I'm not sure you realize. For example, just because it says "Bay Shore, NY" is "harboring and protecting illegal immigrants" doesn't make it anywhere close to true. In fact in most cases, a place like Bay Shore doesn't even have any local government so by definition it cannot provide this kind of protection in defiance of federal law that the creators of this website claim.
