Question Comparison of JFK high school in Bellmore to Calhoun in Merrick

In the process of moving to merrick. Children heading to high school. What is the difference between the south JFK high school and the north Calhoun high school. Is one recommended over the other and why?

More jewish kids and better cars in the parking lot at Kennedy. If you are moving to Merrick - you would probably go to Calhoun. A very small part of South Merrick goes to Kennedy. Most of the kids at Kennedy are from Bellmore. I don't think there is much difference between the schools educationwise. It's the same district - test scores, money spent, standards, and programs offered are pretty much the same. I grew up there and know kids from both schools - some went to top universities, state schools, or became tradespeople, etc... It all depends on the kid.
