Seems to be just off Cantiague drive, west side. You have the Wantagh parkway seperating from New Cassel but you are south of Northern. I think it's Westbury schools. Not a great area if you ask me, not much better than N.C., and you have the W.John street flophouses to your east and New Cassel to your west. I would avoid. In fact I think it's considered part of New Cassel.

There are some nice homes in that area and I believe there's a sign as you drive down Cantiague Ln that has 'Village of Westbury' (not sure). It is near the New Castle Sign on the main street borders of Prospect Ave and West John Street.
Definatly Westbury SD, and I'm not a fan of it, but that spot as a whole isn't scummy. The surrounding area (mainly down Prospect to the west) will not be your cup 'o tea.

15 Oakdale Drive is in the north-east part of the Hamlet of New Cassel in the Town of North Hempstead, just off the border with the Hamlet of Hicksville in the Town of Oyster Bay.
A map of the Hamlet of New Cassel:

As Walter pointed out it is technically New Cassel, though literally the border with Hicksville is around the block, and a few blocks from the Westbury border.
With that being said, that area is the best portion of New Cassel. Its a pretty much middle class neighborhood, and you are generally blocked from the rougher areas of New Cassel by the Wantagh Parkway

That's the Westbury Hills development, IIRC. (Mobilemoll, you might be thinking of the "Westbury Hills" sign as you come off Exit 34.) It's cut off from the rest of New Cassel and is pretty solidly middle class and well kept.

Yup, it's Westbury Hills area, thanks for coming up with the sign . Like I mentioned, that's a nice area to buy but the school district is so-so. Then again, I haven't been in school there for awhile. I remember the Middle School wasn't the greatest.

Its not a good looking neighborhood, I barely ever see any police patroling the area. I honestly do not go into New Castle any more. Id rather go through Westbury if I need to go through New Castle
