Hey WBAB ...Its over.
Alright enough!
Can we get a moratorium on "Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas and the entire Boston catalog?
Moderator cut: language removed That crap was old and overplayed 20 years ago.
WBAB has become a pathetic timemachine for Long Island.
A dark world of Mullets and Camaros circa 1982.
I'm embarrassed for them.
Whats next...The Nuge?

Yup. Same 25 songs over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and, eh, you get my point...
Boston, Zep, etc...way overplayed.
Right now I'm stuck in radio hell until I can replace the CD player in my truck.

Yep. It's really unbearable. Those artists have whole albums of material that they could at least play, even if they want it to be 1982 in perpetuity.
Seriously, no more "Dream On", no more Joe Walsh "Life's been good"...just..let..it..go.

Virtually every radio station seems to change formats on a bi-monthly basis, so apparently whatever they're doing over there is getting ratings. What do you want, yet another Top-40 station?

There are hundreds of artists to choose from and thousands of songs, yet they play the same ones over and over again. Why? Makes no sense. Unless they are either lazy or dumb. Or both.

I dont mind hearing the throw backs when Im in the mood. But why dont they mix it up with some songs from the 80's on. They need to throw in some Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. All these groups have songs that will be labled as "classic rock" down the road.
