Default Is there a list of school rankings for Long Island??

I am kinda getting frustrated. I dont have kids, but may someday soon. So i am looking to buy a place basically now, but thinking 5 years down the line for the school system.

Does anyone know of a list of long island schools, and how they rank? I know there are alot of lists, but they all have bits of info. Is there anything more total in information?!?!? Im not sure if i am making sense, basically I need help! lol

I need a goodish school system, decent taxes... I kinda want the best of both worlds, quality and quantity. (I know, good luck with that!)

Good news...you can relax...
First thing I suggest is count to ten...now say "pins and needles, needles and pins, a happy man is a man who grins"...there, feel better?

Now as far as looking for a "goodish school system", by many standards that pretty much covers most of the districts in LI. "Top" ones include Jericho, Cold Spring Harbor, Syosset, Plainview Old Bethpage, just to name a few. There are tons more that people will call good, and I don't think too many of them will change drastically in 5 years.

There is some bad news in all of this however. If you're really looking for "decent taxes" you will not find it anywhere around LI, at least by my standard. Even more unfortunately, it will probably be worse in 5 years.
