?????? i am not sure exactly what you mean? yes it does break easy, NO it only has an r value of .03.

the shingles are .5 inches this and have a much higher r value. the are a mixture of asphault/asbestos and sugar cane.
leave them be and then wrap and put vinyl on
anything else is COSTLY and stupid |

you dont know how much time it consists of removing the shingles & desposing them, do you? I have done plenty of houses where the owner insists on doing so and it causes more harm then good. |

Yes i do, it took me 12 hours to remove and bag my 1,000 sq ft house. A hack is a hack. |
