Default Living in Mineola but school zoned for East Williston SD

We've been searching for a long time and have really narrowed it down. We are researching a scenario of a home listed in Mineola but has East Williston Schools. Clearly, an advantage, but wondering if it feels like "living on the outskirts" or living in a different town than most of the kids zoned for EWSD. Anyone have thoughts? Much appreciated
