Rocky Point?
When my son and I first went to that one (1977?), a tiny man walked in and the waiter said , "Oh, look : there is Big Barry.".
I thought he was just terrible, making fun of a little person like that.
But, it was. Big Barry, I mean. He really was a little person .

Why didn't Barry just shoot them with his six-shooter?

My parents visited us and took my son and I to the BB in RP. It was a character night and a certain purple dinosaur was roaming the restaurant. My son loved it, my dad looked like he could have used a few more cocktails!

Oh, gawd, YES, I remember going to the Ground Round in Hauppauge back in the 70s when I was in my early teens! It took me a while to get used to throwing the peanut shells on the floor without first looking around to see if anyone was watching;-) Remember that Pong video game in the lobby?
