or Ice Beer? While Zima and the like were silly fads, the party ball was actually something useful! When you didn't need a whoke keg, the party ball was your best bet. Unlike a keg, it was easily transported, you could see how much beer was left, and the taps always worked.

We called them beer balls and yes they still exist as far as I know. Southampton College wouldn't allow kegs on campus so we'd just get beer balls. oh and when they're empty you could punt them across the quad.

Is Bigelows (sp) in RVC still open? It was a seafood place on Sunrise Hwy.

No they don't but I still have the tap for them. The freekin thing was like a harpoon, it had a sharp pointy end on it to go through the baldder of the keg and was more of a weapon then a tap.
I remember playing soccer with the ball after it was empty.
Very productive days back then.

still there. People go crazy for this place. It's good but I don't see what all the fuss is all about, but at the end of the day it's still fried fish.

It was on the corner of Atlantic Ave and Long Beach Road. Right next door to IHOP. After Roy's I believe it became Pizza Hut, and then most recently 1-800 Flowers, which I think went under now too. It may have been a few other places in between, but those are the ones I remember.
