Unhappy Missing from Long Island

Tell me a place that has left long island that you really miss. I loved "Jack in the Box" tacos. As far as fast food goes there was nothing better than this at 3 or 4am.I also miss the old drive in movie theatres that were in Coram(corner of MCR and rt 112) and Rocky Point.

I miss Swezeys.

It was like a little piece of LI from a bygone era died when it closed.

I second that, Jack's tacos were the BEST! Especially the Taco Grande! For a while, Burger King was making tacos that were sort of like Jack's but sadly not anymore.

Swezey's. definitely..my mom used to take us school shopping there because she hated the mall.

The one thing holding on down in Patchogue is Family Melody.

I miss the $3 theater in Smithtown...it was so run down by fun, reminded me of the 70's growing up.

I miss record shopping..I know it's just nostalgia, but thumbing through bins at TSS, or "record world" or whatever mall record stores there were..I miss that as opposed to just going on Amazon.

I never liked this restaurant. It was the first place my wife and I stopped to dine at here on LI, and we were disappointed and SHOCKED by the price.

the whole chain? They have a half dozen locations or so including Ole Grill, which I don't mind, but overall, Meson Ole =bad style of Mexican. A big plate of goop with more goop on top.

Meson Ole, really?
I used to go to the Commack one years ago. I liked it but the East Islip one was always deserted! It was weird to go in with my husband and sit down with 5 waiters staring at you.
