Can anyone suggest a reputable laptop repair place?
I broke the DC plug on my laptop so it will not take a charge or let me run AC power....I have found the part which is $35 but this type of stuff is beyond my realm. Since I know this won't take more than an hour and I know what is wrong I don't want to get ripped off at Microcenter or Geek Squad by price gouging to charging me for an estimate - I just need a small local good place - local to Merrick

We've used a shop called Executive Computer Repair, on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst/Copaigue (across from the Outback Steakhouse) in the past with good results.
