Default Stony Brook poll: LIers gloomy over economy cut spending

I LOVE this "finding"....

"The Stony Brook researchers said Long Islanders continue to support government action to solve the financial crisis, with support broader among liberals than among conservatives. "But," the researchers said, "the fact that a sizable minority of conservatives are willing to support the bill helps to explain its broad political popularity."

These people will say ANYTHING to make their Public Tax Dollar Benefactors, feel....good....about what they are doing to us...and keep those Tax Dollars FLOWWING INTO the University !

I mean, aren't you just......dazzled....by their...inDEPENDENT findings ?

Did you read in the article that they telephoned 800 people in Nassau and Suffolk counties in order to come up with these findings?

What you have to ask is where exactly did they call? Were more calls placed to areas which are traditionally democratic & liberal as opposed to republican & conservative?

Granted, polls can be skewed to reflect what the pollster wants, but let me suggest that you not go so far as to suggest that USB Research Center is creating these polls with the sole intent to benefit financially.

They're conducted in a very scientific manner:

Quote:
Who is Interviewed?
800 adult Long Islanders at least 18 years old will be interviewed. Long Island residents are selected randomly for the poll and the data is weighted to represent the Long Island population’s gender, age, education and ethnicity. These steps ensure a valid sample of all Long Island residents.

Should have been worried and watching their spending all along.

So how much is everyone here saving compared to spending?
