Pool Fence (Florida: cost, linear, inground pool)

Hi,

I am looking to put in one of those mesh pool fences around my inground pool with alluminum pools for support. Does anyone have any idea on cost? I think it goes by square feet. I've been quoted over the phone $17-$19 per foot plus extra for a door. Does that seem like the going rate on Long Island? Total cost would be a bit over $2500 for a 16x32 rectangle pool.

It should cost around $10-$11 per linear foot installed in your area. The gate should add another $275-$300 installed. The product cost the Dealer no more than $7 per foot so you can figure out what he's trying to make. By the way, 100ft. of pool fence takes less than three hours to install so he's trying to make $400 per hour after the material costs. Not bad for three hours.
