Hi all

Does anyone know of a good place to work for on LI if you're a court reporter? New in town. Hoping someone can help.

go to the Nassau or Suffolk courthouses and see what is available. I believe you can be placed on a civil service notification list when the job announcements are released.

If you are looking to freelance, there are a lot of agencies in Nassau in the Mineola area. You can also go to the New York State Court website under careers and all test announcements are posted there. It can be difficult to get a position in the Nassau or Suffolk courts. Many officials, such as myself, commute to the city and have our names on the transfer lists.
