If you don't mind going a little west to East Islip, Yan Min Kitchen on Montauk is the absolute best take out I have ever had. It is one of the few things I really miss about L.I.. I get some whenever I visit and in the 20+ years I have been going there they have never disappointed.

Go a little more West on Long Island to Peninsula on Main St in Bay Shore. It will change your life. It's a little expensive, but it's so good you'll never want cheapy chinese food again.
