Wow. You made that decision based on "what you heard" rather than let them attend the school and find out for YOURSELF? Crazy if you ask me.

LOL, yeah stupid might have been harsh. I dont understand why someone would move to an area without checking out the SD, especially if you have kids. SC is not that bad, you should give it a shot. BTW, no i didnt go to SC, but many of my friends live in the district, and their kids are doing fine. Alot of people use the elementary/middle school then send their kids to a private HS.
Bellport has accelerated classes and if you have a bright student then he/she will be with the students that are considered good role models. Diversity is what makes the world go round.
