Default what to do with grass clippings?

Well Islip and seemingly most towns in suffolk dont collect grass clippings at all.. id rather not leave them on the lawn, and i have no reason/need/desire to compost, so what does everyone do with them?

Do you have a garden? Dig a hole and bury them so they keep the dirt rich. Of course thats useless if you planted your garden already.

Otherwise, bag em up in black bags and put them out with the rest of your trash. What they do not know cannot hurt them. I had a neighbor once who had a tire or two that he needed to dispose of. He was told that the town would take it with the trash. They never did. After a few times of putting them out and having them left, he drove down to the public works dept of the town and left the tires on the doorstep.

Grass clippings are good for your lawn. If you don't let your grass grow too high, just spew 'em back on to the lawn, you wont really notice them. If you cut your grass once a month, it will be very noticable

You can make a small compost bin in your backyard and use the clippings later for bare spots on your lawn, the garden, or as plant food.
