Good blacktop company for driveway (Babylon, Carle Place: house, per square foot, live)

can anyone recomend a good company to redo my driveway? i need belguim block along the edge, and blacktop for the rest. I would appreciate some good suggestions. Thanks

CCC Paving Corp. Office is in Carle Place, but they go all over.
The owner, Nick Cunningham, used to be my neighbor when I lived in Babylon. (He still lives there)
In one of the conversations we had about doing business was a statement I never forgot - he stated that he always charged for the job, not the location.

why do you want blacktop???

it lasts 1/4 the life of concrete
it seeps carcinigins in to the ground
and it is black which absorbs the heat..adding to global warming



there are better choices out there

so are you gonna pay the extra expense for concrete, or brick pavers? Do me a favor and keep your comments to yourself. I didnt ask for alternatives.

I've been pricing the same thing and am also going the blacktop route due to expense. (At least the snow melts quicker!) I've gotten quotes from a few companies and it looks like Stasi Bros. is in the lead.

Blacktop is fine when properly taken care of (sealed, cracks filled ect.)

$3.50 a sq ft including 80 feet of belgium block. i had my dw done 6 yrs ago at my other house and it was only $1.25 sq ft. I can understand it being more expensive but triple??????????????????WTF. I need to get of this island. Everything is way overpriced

Yes I guess that could get to be expensive especially if you have a big driveway.
