Stony Brook a possibility for Jets' training camp -- Newsday.com (http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jets/ny-spjets1412649421apr13,0,250700.story?track=rss - broken link)
I think it would be a great move considering their Long Island fan base.
The Jets officially chose SUNY Cortland as the site for this summer's training camp, making the announcement Monday morning during a news conference in Cortland, N.Y. It was attended by Gov. David A. Paterson and Jets owner Woody Johnson.
The Jets signed a one-year contract with SUNY Cortland, which was chosen over Cornell, Utica, Marist and Stony Brook University.

It's only one year, though. Maybe they'll decide on something else next year.

SUNY Cortland? That sounds more like Bills country.
Why don't the Jets have summer training camp in Wilkes-Barre? It's not like they are a NY team. That ended the day they crossed the river into NJ.

Easy Bee have.
Theyve been HQ'd in Hempstead forever.
Thats Long Islands team, camp at Hofstra and offices in Hempstead played a big part in that.
I really hope Woody pulls his head out of his arse and brings them back home for camp.

Wishful thinking and I agree but highly doubtful they will set up shop on LI in the future. The least they could do is give us the training camp at Stonybrook or something, instead of Cortland. Instead, we get some retarded fan appreciation night after thought where they return the end of august for like one night for practice. Can't wait for that

What could be more irrevalent? A team that plays all of their home games in NEW JERSEY!!!!!! I doubt even the Jets would be stupid enough to have training camp in Suffolk County

The only thing that could be more irrelevant is a Lions fan chiming in.
Go troll the rust belt boards at 0-16
You sound like a displaced Jet fan.
