Default Apartments in Port Jefferson Village

I am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment in Porf Jeff Village with a lease starting over the summer. Probably something above a shop or restaurant if possible.I am wondering if anyone knows how many of these types of apartments are available each year, their quality, and what to expect for cost. Any insight would be helpful.

You might want to check with a realtor who handles rentals.Otherwise down port is mostly hit and miss.

superfly10 will become famous soon enough
had a buddy who did this back in college - the houses were a better deal than the ones over the restaurants and shops. While those were convenient - expect noise and pest problems living over a restaurant. Parking in the village is tough - even if you have designated parking, expect somebody to take it - even if you can get them towed it can be a headache.

Many houses in the village that have apartments - a quick bike ride or cab ride into town if you want a pub crawl.

My first apartment was in a house in Poquott - near Port Jeff. It was nice and quiet and a quick ride into PJ.
