You have to live in a Levitt house. I did. If you do, bring in a bill to Levittown Parkway. there some sort of town hall. Recieve a wrist tag.

I used to Live in Seaford....
Hi... I used to live in the Island Trees school district. Moved to Tampa three years ago. When I first moved to Seaford with my family back in 1998, I applied for a county... From the County of Hillsborough. At the time, it gave me access to the Levittown pools as well as some of the Beaches, which I had used for a while. Then for some reason, they stopped allowing my family to use the pool. You should call the Town of Hempstead or go on line.

Tampa Liz, a place that has a "Seaford, NY 11783" mailing address and is in the Island Trees Union Free School District, seems to me to be in the Hamlet of Levittown ("Seaford, NY 11783" mailing address).
Also, should that be "Nassau County", not "Hillsborough County"?

Among other things, the Census Bureau's online address search function indicates in which community (city, village or CDP) and school district an address is located. (CDP or Census Designated Place is the Census Bureau nomenclature for a hamlet in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.)

You can find out, Walter.
Go to the Nassau County Dept. of Assessment website, locate your home under "property search", click "General and School Taxes" and then "View General Tax Bill Details". A new window will pop up and give you a list of districts you pay taxes to.
I am fairly certain that "Hempstead / Oyster Bay (Jt) Community Hall / Swimming Pool" is different than "Levittown Park District", however.
Levittown Park District should be all residential homes in the Levittown Planned Residence District...which is basically all homes in Levittown and Levitt homes outside of it's borders. I live in North Wantagh, in a Levitt house, and I have both on my tax bill....they are definitely seperate items.
I seriously doubt the people who give out pool passes at Levittown Hall are aware of this, however. Just tell them you have kids in the Levittown School District and you should have no problem. I was always able to get one.

sean sean sean sean, according to "Special Districts and Service Areas" (Nassau County Planning Commission, 1984), "The Joint Community Hall and Swimming Pool District is comprised of part of the Hicksville Park District in the Town of Oyster Bay, and all of the Levittown Park District in the Town of Hempstead."

it stinks but you gotta be in a levit. It seems unfair. Folks in the ts ds or ws can get the passes. I don't know if they're tougher than they used to be, but they'll check it against a map. I have a number of friends in seaford, so it is a bummer.
