Hello All,

I recently purchased a home in Bethpage that is heated by oil (burner is only 3-4 years old) and I would like to know if it would be financially beneficial to convert to gas. The house is ~1700 SF with 2 separate heating zones.

My intention is to have gas piped to the house regardless for cooking and clothes drying as our electric bill for the first month was pretty high. Can everyone who uses gas provide the details below so I can investigate further?

1) SF of house
2) Total amount of Therms used during the winter months
3) Please list all gas appliances used as well.

If anyone just uses gas for cooking and clothes drying, can you also provide the amount of therms used so I can compare the benefits of gas to electric?

Thank you!
