Default Bellmore

I grew up in Bellmore. We had a creek at the end of our backyard and beyond that there were woods for days. Those have been gone for a long time. I wish I had some pictures. Anyone grow up there or live there now? I left in 1980 was back about 5 years ago (just drove thru to show my kids). Those were the days, when we could play in the woods with no worries. My dad would whistle really loud and we knew it was time to go home.

I grew up in North Bellmore in the 90s. It was really nice when I was younger because all of our neighbors had kids my age, and there were plenty of block parties and all of that. The schools were kind of iffy though. They rank high on paper, but some of the kids were totally insane. So were their parents. It was a weird place.
