I just read another forum on city-data
I saw one of those house buying shows on TLC last night - The area the couple were looking to buy a house looked really nice. I decided to look it up on city-data. The people on the forums were complaining about - traffic, cost of gas, politicians, over priced real estate, RE agents, taxes, schools, neighbors, living expenses, etc.. For a second - I wondered if I was reading the LI forum by mistake.

What area? I know the other night there was a couple looking in Alexandria, vA. I'll tell you straight up that is one area that is NOT preferable to LI. They were looking at 600K houses, and the area reminded me of Manhasset. However, in Northern VA, there is more crime and just as much traffic. I'll pass. |
