Default To do with kids in Old Westbury area

Hi, We're going to be in Old Westbury for a graduation soon. Anyone have ideas for things to do with a 3 year old? A mall with a play area or a park etc? We're staying in a hotel, but could quickly get cabin fever if there's rain. Thanks!

What hotel are you staying at? I can't think of anything right now near the SUNY campus, but if you are at the Uniondale Marriott by any chance the LI Children's Museum, Cradle of Aviation Museum, Nunley's Carousel and the Firefighter's Museum are all over there.

We'll be at the Melville Marriott. I guess I need to get a map to see where some of these things are. Thanks, Twingles.

MacTAC is on a distinguished road
Practically across the street, maybe a little loud for a three year old though...

The most appropriate thing I can think of to do with a 3 year old would definitely be the Long Island Children's Museum...

Actually, there is a little children's area at Adventureland, went there with the kids a few years ago and they had a great time. It's closer to the Route 110 side of the park. Good idea MacTAC. BUt that's outdoors, not good for a raindate.

Closest mall to the Melville Marriott is Walt Whitman, farther north on Route 110.
