Its a little unkept I feel driving through the area in general, a few potholes and cracks etc, I also see a high tension wire in the vicinity. Are you aware of that ?
Sachem schools are okay, I think it intersects Hawkins... and thats pretty busy !!

azeng1981, Church Street is in both the Hamlet of Ronkonkoma and the Hamlet of Lake Ronkonkoma.

You can find out in which community (city, village or CDP) that address on Church Street is actually located, which is oftentimes different from the community named in that house's mailing address -- this is especially true for a community such as Lake Ronkonkoma which does not have a same-named ZIP Code postal zone -- by using the Census Bureau's online address search function. (CDP or Census Designated Place is the Census Bureau equivalent for a hamlet in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.)

And, very importantly, among other things, the Census Bureau's online address search function also indicates in which school district an address is located.

Here's my take on it:

My son and daughter-in-law owned a house in the late nineties on Church Street in Lake Ronkonkoma. It is fairly busy but not horribly. Our two grandchildren were young and had to play mostly in the backyard, though. It wasn't all that terrible to get out of the street on either end as I remember it. Sachem schools (or Connetquot District if that's where the house is located) are very well liked from all I've ever heard. Hope that helps.
