I need to replace two shingles and I have no idea where I can get them?

I'm not sure, but I think we have some white ones in the basement. You're talking about the rectangular ones that are used for siding and have a curvy edge and pinstripe creases??

I do not think you can buy new. Asbestos is banned and not used in any products.

You can they're at home depot all the way in the back I just returned a bunch you can only buy a huge package of them and they're like 100 bucks.

Those aren't asbestos. They are designed to look like the old asbestos shingles for repair jobs, but they contain no asbestos.

Yup. They still make the faux asbestos shingles. I didn't think there could still be a market for them, but I guess there is.

I thought every house came standard with a rotted out box or so of asbestos shingles either in the shed, garage, or basement. I don't think I've ever been in a house that doesn't have secret stash of them laying around somewhere.
Must've been about 6 or 8 boxes of them in the basement of my last house.
I found one rotted out box of them in the crawlspace of my current house.
