I got a buddy relocating from out of state and has some family near there.
Where would you look?
Schools?
Affordability?

Sayville is a great area, with a great main st, i was just there last night getting some greek food. From what i hear the schools are good also.

sayville is great, but its not cheap. id say for a decent house you're starting near $400k

Sayville is awesome, great little main st close to the water.
Negatives are during the summer the "ladies" invade the town and my sister in law went to Sayville high about four years ago and said that they have a pretty bad coke problem. Take from it what you will.

crooks, i think Bayport is priced a bit higher, i think oakdale/ w.sayville gives you your best bang for the buck. Plus its a 2 min ride to sayvilles main st.

Sayville is awesome, I don't think there would be any problems.
Bayport, Blue Point, and Oakdale might be worth a look too.
