the word guido is so non offensive that its used in many common places. for instance, theres a bar, forgot where it was, called "guidos". theres a famous dj duo called "razor and guido". theres also songs out there called "the guido rap", "12 days of guido christmas" and a few others I cant remember. theres a wrestler called "lil guido". theres also a "guidos pizza". theres a "guidos barber shop" and Im sure they specialize in the dragon ballz hairstyle. theres a movie called "kiss me guido". so, if the word is offensive, then all the above should get rid of the word. but to me, it never was.

theyre always renaming roads. but then again, someone may complained. the word "guinea" is far more offensive than guido. but words do phase me so it doesnt bother me much.

I agree, 'Guinea' can be offensive when applied to someone of Italian ancestry; but, in this case, 'guinea' referred to a bird, not an ethnic group, and 'Guinea Wood' was the name of that road going back to Colonial times.

Are you sure they're the same road?
