It's about BELLPORT HIGH SCHOOL. It's not about being jumped by crips and bloods while you're hanging out down by the marina or the Country club. It's about having to deal with ghetto nonsense when you go to school...what does send your kid there mean? It's not that difficult to figure out.
Sheesh.

And you are 100% wrong. I can't understand why that is so diffficult to understand. (I find it humerous how you think any kid that wears red is a Blood, BTW).
There have been no more or no less incidents at Bellport HS (Which is located in BROOKHAVEN HAMLET FOR HOPEFULLY THE LAST TIME) than any other school. That's a fact. You can ignore it (As you have been thus far) but it's still a fact.
You think kids in Sachem don't have fights?
I'll end this when you admit you have no factual data to support your opinion. You don't, just admit it.

I have looked at RP & SB but the houses I seen needed work within my price range, (examples; no heat.) and that is considered unlivable and unmortgageable. I looked in Middle Island but mostly "gordon heights" and after seeing a few houses- I agree. Not where we want to be. Just looked YUCK. I can't go too far our east because fiance works ALL over the place from NYC to right here on the island. We want somewhere from Hauppauge (which is too pricey) to about the Ridge area. I haven't seen anything on MLSLI that we really liked. As for the house in Bellport, we drove down the street and seen a bunch of kids playing on the block. Nice houses, and it is close to County route 99 (If that helps at all on location.) I believe we passed a stop & shop on the way there. It seemed to be the perfect house. One that me & my spouse BOTH loved.
As for schools, we have babies right now who dont attend school yet, and when/if we decide to move it would probably be before the high school years. I don't mind living with black or hispanic people, even purple ppl are fine. I am not one to care about that stuff. Colors doesn't mean you don't work hard and try to live life like anyone else. I think that is so dumb. But I do agree with DMAN, I think that ppl here on the Island kind of say negative things about the lower middle class and depending on race. (Not to start a problem on here with anyone or a race topic.)

OH and it is close to 27A. Like a few blocks away.
Suzook- I only ask about the areas since I only lived on Long Island for a year. I came from Pennsylvania. I have no real friends here just co workers of my fiance. I ask on here to see all the different opinions on an area.
If you were being a smarty pants about "running out of areas" that is kind of lame. You might just be one of the ppl that has nothing better to do but try and be mean for fun. Grow up.

No heat. whats your range.?
Truth be told if you cant afford Sound Beach, you cant afford LI.
Im seeing really decent stuff from 175-225 with low taxes.
Keep looking or get a better Agent.
Check out Panamoka too.

I wasnt being smart. I was suggesting to find a place to live. To be honest with you, it sounds like you would be better off renting. The QOL in the areas you are looking at are not that great. I am actually trying to help you, the comment was a bit of a joke, i think you need to lighten up a bit
