It may not be a "ventless" heating system. It may however be a high efficiency boiler. These are so effecient that they are vented out the side of the house like a clothes dryer as opposed to up a chimney.

Check out what the real estate taxes are going to actually be on this house - don't settle for just an estimate. And fasten your seatbelt - you're talking new construction and new construction has the highest RE taxes.

small cracks are normal. we bought a new construction and the house settles. We have minor cracks, nails popping, etc. a little spackle and paint and everything is fixed again!
