Help with parts of Seaford (levittown schools)
Hi
I am looking for some feedback as to the section of Seaford (but it is lLevittown schools) that is just north or Jerusalem between Hicksville Road and the Seaford Oyster Bay. I am looking at the area with the street names: Ralph, Allen, Bernice, Anne, etc.
It looks like a great area, big splits, very well maintained, etc., but there are SO MANY homes for sale and that is my concern.
If anyone has any feedback at all on that area I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much

The taxes in this section I am talking about in Seaford with Levittown schools are much higher than in Seaford with Seaford schools.
Maybe that could be the reason?
I have an offer in on a house accepted and I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing before I get it inspected and sign away.....Just want to make sure it is a safe area and there is nothing go on there I should know about.

I would assume the taxes would be higher for a seaford school and not a home in the levittown school district. I have heard seaford's school systems are much better than levittown's. the area is safe, from what Ive been told. but perhaps others in here know a bit more about the area than I do.

^^^^ I thought the same thing. Seaford schools are better (in my opinion) but the taxes in Seaford schools are lower for the most part. Makes no sense to me either!
I love Seaford and I am very familiar with parts South of sunrise and merrick and know they are fine, just need more feedback on the section in question. Thanks so much for your help! It seems like a nice middle class hard working friendly area, but one block had 6 houses for sale, scary!

Levittown schools are not the best, otherwise that is a good area.
(My friend used to live on Bernice.)

Macarthur is part of Levittown schools...it's not great. They are not bad areas at all, the schools are not that good for whatever reason. Also, Bernice is pretty far away from MacArthur...not walking distance...i'm not sure how the bussing works...but your kids would be in the school with kids from wantagh and levittown as well as seaford.

Ok so the schools are not "great". Does that make then bad? No. They have a solid school system. Why does everything have to be "great" to be considered?

They are not the worst, not the best...Mediocre at best...IMO, anyway. I wouldn't send my kids to a Levittown school.
