Back on topic - I'm headed out now to cut anything that overhangs his fence and dig up anything that is right on the fence (like the lillies and the irises that just don't know their rightful place - LOL). Then I'll take another set of pictures and wait until Monday. Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day, so I'll get a lot of other 'when I have time' jobs done around the house.

Sounds as though you have your own brand of morning wake up call
Good luck tomorrow, please keep us posted.

So far so good. They took down the other two fences with very little disturbance on my side. One dwarf white pine got a bit bent over when the fence fell opposite of what they were expecting. A little support and she should be good as new. They are beginning the installation now.

The fence is blindingly white! I will certainly need to put more plantings in front of it to soften the glare into my living room. However, I think I'll extend those beds out another few feet, and leave a gap un-planted near the fence to allow for hosing the thing off and such.
The only terminal damage was to a daisy, which I had to cut to the ground. It may come back this year - if not it may come back next year. They also bent that white pine, but it's not broken, so I just staked it back up, good as new.
All in all wasn't too bad, but I think having the bf around sure helped. They aren't finished with the fence yet, but are finished with my side, so I'm going back to work tomorrow. Got a lot done though - stained some chairs that needed it, cleaned my gutters, re-arranged some furniture... So the day wasn't a waste by a long shot.
Thanks for the advise everyone!

Awesome news! I'm so glad that things went as uneventfully as possible. Definitely work on some additional plantings...my neighbors on two sides in the back put up white PVC and it IS very bright / glaring.

If your neighbor continues to annoy you, looks like you can use these dogs ...

My Mom has a hyperactive pit mix I could borrow too. I already have enough problems with the neighbor's dogs poo-ing on my lawn. I don't want to bring another in.
I'll stick with the country music.
