Have you guys noticed areas in Long Island that has ethnic or country wise congregation of the populi ? you know... how people like to hang out together. I would like to read your observations.
I have found a lot of south asians around hicksville, and italians near holbrook.

Where the heck do the Italians hang out in Holbrook ? There isn't a downtown to speak of. At Momma Lombardi's, maybe?

Strong Polish communites in Riverhead and Copiaue.

Italians are everywhere with Massapequa as the cultural center.
Holbrook, not so much.

Massapequa.... did not know.... but yeah I think they are everywhere. As I mentioned above my previous landlord told me stories.... his family came here in the early 20's.... a lot of italians came in during that period and they worked very hard for decades and it finally paid off.

Long Island is overrun by Italians. I think they/we ( I'm part) are the largest ethnic group. Can't you smell the hair gel?
