Default Which would be your worst Neighbor Nightmare?

Inspired by lialleycat's recent fence issues.

I'm curious to know which Neighbor From Hell issue would qualify as THE absolute hardest to live with (or I guess more precisely, live next to!) ... in your opinion.

Some of the poll items may not be PC but since they are, after all, real-life situations I think they should be included.

If there is a poll, add something about Co-Op's and having to live over a difficult neighbor. I am in the process of leaving, but my neighbors have made it impossible for me to have anyone over to my place. (because we make too much noise). Mind you, we tip toe, never raise the volume above 4 on the TV, did not hook up a surround sound... blah blah blah!!!

Sorry, it took me a while to type it... didn't realize that the post posts before the poll itself does!

I seriously dithered about adding "is a drug dealer or drug user" to the poll, only because it's such a tough thing to prove (unless the person gets busted, in which case they are hopefully going to be living in the slammer rather than next door anymore!).

The other things are more clear-cut and visible, no questions about "Are they or aren't they?". For example, sex offenders are on public registries. The only thing that isn't necessarily apparant on the poll list would be sexual orientation.

While many of those things are really annoying, a serial renter is probably the worse for QOL - at least a bad owner can be held accountable for things, but short-term tenants have no vested interest in the area and are nearly impossible to attack legally as a neighbor.

That being said, one of my neighbors has a dog that barks for hours at a time, nearly every single day. I love animals and am STILL tempted to throw a poisoned steak over the fence from time to time.

Sex offenders I'd only be concerned with as a sign of the neighborhood deteriorating - fear of them is overblown, since most children are sexually assaulted by a friend or family member, not randomly by some creep down the block.

There's a group home for adults with mental disabilities not far from here and they are very good neighbors - the house is better maintained than many around it, and they don't make noise. Not sure how it would be with convicted criminals or drug addicts, though.

I have the barking dog. My neighbors are very nice but they have a psycho dog and the woman admits it. The last time it was out at like 630 am barking. It barks to go out and when its out it barks to go in. I can hear it in its house barking when I am in my house. Its nuts. They have two dogs. We have one. Ours is an angel compared to the crazy pooch. Their other one is fine. Who puts a dog out at 6am and then leaves it to bark? It usually is only like 10 minutes so its not worth me complaining about it because I would rather not deal with any static that it may create complaining. But it barks ALL the time. And its an annoying bark for a big dog. They keep to themselves though and other than the dog, they are decent neighbors. I am glad I am usually up pretty early though.
