Your right it was a ferrari, if you paid more attention while you were reading you would have seen that I didnt say that it was that cop who was "druck" but have heard plenty of stories involing accidents with drunken police officers. I was generalizing really. And a police officer driving unsafely and getting into an accident on a public road in a ferrari is a disgrace, When I tell my children that the proper place for that is the track and then a police man does something so obviously stupid. I defend them tooth and nail when they are doing the right thing. But they are in the business of doing the right thing. They should never forget that they are role models and upholders of the law first. Everything else comes second.

Ah, you choose the wrong story to make a point (Using the wrong exotic car) and misquote the story (By saying the Ferrari driving cop was drunk) and I'M THE ONE NOT PAYING ATTENTION???
I love this place.

And before anyone once again tries to use him driving a Ferrari to make the point that police on LI are overpaid, please note the Ferrari was NOT HIS, it belonged to someone whose house he was taking care of.

Listen... Maybe they lowered the bar or something. Most of the cop's I know and are friends with are good folks. Too many arent.

please show me where I said specifically that the cop in the ferrari was driving drunk, maybe I'm mistaken. I was going down a long list of incidents some of wich were cops speeding and some of wich were cops drunk driving. anyway wich car he was driving wasnt the point, The point was he was doing the wrong thing and is a disgrace to the badge.
or maybe you mean this post :

That cop that got killed speeding in a bmw and the one in the lamborgini both are a disgrace to the badge.

where I also didnt say that the cops were drunk when they crashed. You sir are arguing with your own assumptions, You are so intent on not being able to get past the fact that I mentioned the wrong type of car that your missing the point. I said Lamborgini and it was a ferrari... so sorry. The cop was still a disgrace to the badge.

You sir, are arguing about nothing, and missing the point.
This is how stories get blown WAY out of proportion. You have the off duty cop dying in a Lamborgini drunk. This is not what happened. If you hate cops and want to prove a point, it is not too much to ask that you use correct information to back up your opinion, is it?
By the way, the part where you stated the cop was drunk is bolded in your post. YOU BOLDED IT YOURSELF. I have no idea why you are picking a fight, then posting things that make you look incorrect. That's an interesting strategey!
"Cops speeding to their deaths driving BMW's and Lamborginis driving drunk"
YOU WROTE THIS, AND BOLDED IT.
Can you expalin how you were not suggesting the cop was speeding while drunk and died in a Lamborgini?
If you want to argue, at least have an arguement.
It's ok, we'll just assume that somehow, this is all my fault.

PS: You have a lot of nerve Mod cut: personal attackincluding an off duty cops accident (That resulted in his death) while driving a Ferrari in your list of reasons cops are a disgrace to the badge. The guy had an accident-that's it. He's dead and his family lost a husband/father. Where do you get off suggesting he is a "Disgrace to the badge"?

I never said the cop was drunk...ever...at any point. I dont hate cops, I have alot of friends who are cops and have alot of respect for them. Starting to think you may be one seeing as how you defend them when they are doing the wrong thing.
I guess you missed the period between cops speeding to theyre deaths driving bmw,s and Lamborginis and driving drunk. TWO DIFFERENT STATEMENTS!!! stop mushing them together to suit your rediculous argument. Or keep doing it doesnt matter.

I may have alot of nerve, But so did that cop speeding in someone Else's Ferrari on a public road, endangering the public with reckless driving and a public display of bad behavior, when he would have given you or I a ticket for the same behavior. That not only makes him a disgrace but a hypocrite. He would not have had an accident if he wasn't driving like an idiot and his family would not have lost a husband/father. So not only did he break the law, but he had total disregard for his position and didn't think about possible repercussions to his family.
a disgrace to the badge.
You are as much entitled to your opinion as I am.
So you continue with the name calling, continue reading my posts wrong and then arguing with me about them. continue to tell me that I posted the wrong name of the car in my post, I may not have understood you the first, second or third time you corrected me. continue to assume that I hate police officers and have no respect for them, tell me I have no class, Whatever dude.
It's a free country, You can be angry at me for whatever you want
I wish you luck in all your endeavors.

I guess the SCPD (and all the other unions who take advantage of the broken system) are shaking in their boots at the thought of Steve Levy as Governator.
