Illegal apartment ( Central Islip) (Brentwood, Westbury: lease, dangerous, safety)

what shoul I do to file a compliant about illegal apartment,?
this situation is out of control they have more then 4 illegal apt in 1 house
15 cars park in the back yard and the owners just move 2 years ago to the house.I cant have privacy on my own backyard.

We call the town of Islip but nothing has happend yet.

I'd call the town again and tell them that you called already and there's been no action taken. Good luck!

Some Towns require that you file a written complaint before they consider acting on it...

Sadly the town of Islip doesn't care, they just allow flophouse after flophouse to operate. Thats why CI and Brentwood are the way they are. I would just leave, I feel like a foreigner in my own country everytime I'm there. Central Islip needs to be called Central America, thats what it is now.
Last time I took the train through there almost all the ads at Brentwood and CI are in a language other than english. You need to get out of there as soon as possible!

Problem is they dont do anything either. I reported illegals to INS when they moved into the building I was in by the train station. Nothing happened, until the stabbing when I woke up to blood in the hallway outside of my door and the cops came. The 15 min it took for the NCPD to show up felt like an eternity. They found a nice stock of knives and machetes in the apt next door.
You'll be happy to know that I see everyone in that apt still here when I pass by the place on the way to the train station. Now you know why you cant blame ppl who feel like just shooting 'em.

Problem is, where do you "run" to. People are crazy no matter where you go. Sure some places are more violent/dangerous than others, but things can happen no matter where you go.

I do believe more action needs to be taken though.

You're right, more and more there's nowhere to run. The problems I see here in Westbury I see all over the island, in varying degrees. Even out in Ridge on Rt.25, there's a deli now with signs in a foreign language and Central American flags.
Nowhere is safe. There's no will in the population to improve things, they're too busy Twittering and Texting to see the country around them being invaded.

Let's be fair though, us "normal" folk aint always too sane either lol.

I had a guy pull up along side of me for thinking I ran a stop sign, and as polite as I was, this man did not want to take things easy. Got to the point of him punching my car!!

Sounds like it's time to move and there's enough to break any lease you have since your safety is a concern.
