The overall limit was weight, not number of items. I do not remember what it was, but I think its 200 lbs.

Can anyone break down which days the town picks up what type of garbage? They sent me all these brochures but no information regarding which days for what.

I'm confused because it seems like some people bring everything to the curb at all times and others only bring certain items.

Also, which day is for cardboard boxes? I have a ton since we are still moving in.

Thanks

There is regular garbage and there is recycling which is the yellow SORT bin that you put everything recyclable in. It depends on the town. For instance Hicksville SORT day is Tuesday and Plainview SORT day is Wednesday. Garbage is Monday/Thursday for both. Call the number and find out. if i remember correctly TOB doesn't pick up cardboard for recycling. you may just have to put the boxes out with the regular trash.
