Default High School for child with reading disability

We are moving to LI and looking for a community with a high school that will challenge and nurture our bright, social, but learning disabled (reading disabililty and ADHD- inattentive type) child. Looking for a nurturing school that aims to help children reach their potential (not just "pass the test"). Able to purchase a home up to $700,000, although less would be more comfortable. Any thoughts about best places to look? Thanks!
