Long island Sal is on a distinguished road
Default Is Indymac bank scaming 1st time home buyers.

with forclosure at a all time high, many 1st time buyers here on long island see this as a oppertunity to be able to afford a home on long island, but banks like indymac are making it close to impossiable for 1st time home buyers to buy a forclosure,my sister is trying to purchase a home in suffolk, and wells fargo bank has pre-approved them for a mortgage. indymac is only giving them 5 days to sign a contract and only 30 days to get a mortgage, there after they will be charged $100. a day until they close, but here is the problem indymac wont produce for them a copy of the deed, and with out that they are unable to get a house inspector to inspect the house, with out a deed there could be alot more expenses. how can indymac insist buyers to sign a contract without 1st provieing that they have the rigth to sell it, and then fine buyer $100. per day. the selling agents wont give any aisstance either.

Indymac went under. They were my mortgage company. They are now OneWest Bank.

I never had that kind of problem with Indymac ; had 20% to put down and it was no bother at all. Dealt with them early in 2008 and had no issues at all.
