Default anyone living in Sayville.....homeowners insurance suggestions?

Hi everyone! Just wondering what kind of suggestions you have for homeowners insurance companies.

Looks like we may be getting a house in Sayville, and i see from past threads that Allstate apparently doesn't write on long island anymore......:-( We currently have our condo insurance and car insurance through them. I just hope we don't have a problem getting insurance

Check with your Allstate agent, if you already have a policy with them they may be able to roll you over to a new one.

If you are pretty close to the water there in Sayville you may be out of luck no matter what though...and I know State Farm isn't writing within 1000 feet of ANY water, no matter how high up you are or how innocuous the body of water is.

Good luck!

mrsstats thanks! I am going to go on the williamsandwilliams site. I am actually getting annoyed with allstate....... and may just drop them all together, since we've been with them our insurance premium goes up every 6 months!! thats ridiculous!! we have perfect driving records.....no accidents or tickets

Great thanks! I actually just did an online auto quote with travelers. I would like to have our auto and homeowners through the same company.

The premium quoted is less than what we pay now with allstate.

Anyone with any experience with travelers?

We have Travelers through my agency, they are a great company, but not the cheapest out there!

Hi, Jackie. I am a broker in your area. If you would like to contact me, I will get you quotes with several companies. You can e-mail me at mgrassiaboom50@aol.com. I would be happy to help. I have family living in Sayville who I have insured.
