Anyone have any info on the new condo developments going up in Amityville/Massaequa border. The area seems sketchy, but the condos/townhomes look really nice! I think theres the New point that are condos, and they are beautiful inside!

Hey fellow LIW/LiFamer!!!! Nice to see someone else is on 3 msgboards as well LOL (It's Mazz)

We looked into those in the very beginning bc we didnt want to go too far into Suffolk... It looks like a nice development, but honestly, the school district is going to affect resale value...

If you're strictly looking into condos and dont mind going out a little further, we just signed contract for one in Woodgate Village in Holbrook. 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses and in a great school district- Sachem

I'm guessing that you're talking about condos going up in the Hamlet of East Massapequa ("Massapequa, NY 11758" mailing address) in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County, to the west of the Village of Amityville in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County.

It's actually my in-laws that are really interested, I think new Point is actually in Amityville, but I want to make sure it's safe

It's really not (safe) if it's the ones that are across from the old Brunswick Hospital.

My daughter worked as a Social Worker at the Hospital for a while and was glad to leave - she was really not comfortable in that area
