Let's say you use the fireplace approx. 20 times a season...how often should you have it swept?

alot depends on the type of wood you are burning. Stay with good dried oak, and you wont have to clean vey often. If you are using 20 times a season, you could gey away with every 5 or 6 yrs.

You should have it inspected every year.

Assuming you use it fairly regularly, do it once a year. It's cheap enough.
