Rocky Point Area and Weather
Hi,
I am looking into buying a home in Rocky Point (I live in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn) and I am a little nervous since it is sooo close to the water. My question is how are the winters since I have a five year old and he would have to bused into school. Also, are there alot of floods in the area???
Thanks

Theres no floods on the bluffs pal.
Youre moving 50 miles east... not to Alaska.
We have pretty much the same weather you do .
Welcome to Rocky Point.
You made a great choice, you'll love it here.
Any questions PM me.

If you live in a particularly hilly section, you might want to consider having at least one 4 or all wheel drive for the few days that it snows. Other than that, there's no reason to think about the weather any differently than anywhere else on LI.
