Advice - Living near Woodmere Middle School (Hewlett, Lawrence: condos, houses)

Hello

My family is looking to move to Hewlett-Woodmere. We saw some great houses over the weekend and are trying to narrow down.

One house we saw is very close to the athletic fields of Woodmere Middle School. We are wondering if anyone knows how loud it might be at that location on weekends?

The house is otherwise wonderful so we are really hoping to find out about noise level from the school.

I'm not sure what the latest is on this situation, but Woodmere Middle School was slated to be sold. Most likely there will be an Orthodox school there or some condos. You might want to investigate further and factor that into your decisions.

Thanks Mantaray - are you sure it was Woodmere and not Lawrence? I recall hearing that Lawrence was going to be sold.

yes, the last I heard, it was Lawrence that was selling off a school. Woodmere MS is Hewlett-Woodmere SD.
