HI..IS anyone familiar with ABLE RIDE ? If so, I would like your honest oppinions on their service..Have you used it? Is is on time ? etc...thanks

Highly recommend ABLE RIDE!! It's been a lifesaver for my family member who cannot drive. You call to make a reservation and they give you a 20 minute timeframe that they'll be there. Just give yourself enough time to get to your destination and you'll be fine. Can't go wrong for the price . . . I think it's something like $3.50 each way no matter how far the distance (within Nassau County only). Of course, you have to have a doctor's note and be approved for their services first.

They've always shown up when they were supposed to. In fact, they're very strict with customers who do not show up or cancel at the last minute. If you get so many "no-shows" within a certain timeframe, you go on probation, so they take their business serious.
