Africa is not a country it is a continent. You never hear anyone called North American-American or European-American.
African-American just the current label placed on people of color that can not trace their roots to a precise country in Africa due to our history with slavery.

Yes, this is true but people tend to refer to all balck people as "African American" regardless of where they are from. How many times have you heard a suspect on the news called "African American" without knowing if he is Jamaican, Haitian, etc?
The term "African American" means "Black". It's not supposed to but that's what it became.

Every one needs to chill the hell out. That's the problem.
By every one flipping out and making a big stink about this, this guy got exactly what he was looking for. He was looking to ruffle feathers and **** people off.
I think it is best to totally ignore people that do this kind of crap.
People like this do these things for attention.

My husband has several family members that died in the camps. It directly affected his whole family and still does to this day. His Grandmother was a camp survivor who only just recently died. It's pretty hard to chill out when your family was that directly affected. That flag represents a lot of pain to a lot of people. Now, he didn't give it a lick of attention, but I can understand why people would.

41st Street, North of Sunrise. I live in Lindy, what area are you moving to? South of Sunrise is better, South of Montauk best.
