Long Island Car Service with child seat? (Nassau, Sparta: limo, price)

Does anyone know of a car service on Long Island that offers car seats? I am taking a trip to London from JFK with a 17 month old where I will not need a car seat. I have found a couple based in NYC but I am not sure if it would be worth the cost to have them come out to the Island (if they even would). My other option is to just drive myself to the airport and have my husband pick up the car from short term parking. This is not my preferred solution due to the amount of gear that I will have.

Anyone with any recommendations?

I had to go from NYC to Long Island. This car service provided a car seat and was sufficiently professional and safe. However, pricey. 5 Star Elite Car Service, 631-834-4730.

Also look at the stroller that combines as a car seat -- Sit N Stroll -- I used this flying from NY to Italy but found it too unwieldy/heavy to use by myself.

In the end, may be worthwhile having your husband drop you off, as traveling with a toddler by yourself can be quite...challenging to say the least. Good luck!

A coworker of mine took his son to the UK and used Spartan car service. Spartan held on to the car seat (furnished by him) after dropping them at airport, then picked them up with the seat upon their return.

I use Spartan for work-related purposes and am quite familiar with their outfit. They are rough around the edges (i.e., you might find yourself in the back of an old station wagon) but are reliable.
