 SELDEN, N.Y. (WPIX) - A Long Island woman is accused of kidnapping and murdering neighbors' pets with the help of her children, and burring them in her backyard, sources said.
Sharon McDonough, 43, was arrested Saturday and charged with animal cruelty.

I caught part of this story on the news while at the bagel shop this morning. Another woman and myself tried stifling tears; what was worse -- the fact that she tortured and killed so many innocent animals, or that she involved her children? Another thought crossed my mind -- what's not to say that she hasn't done this to a child?

She better hope I don't run into her somewhere.
Hope she trips and tears out her eye on a rusty nail before falling face first into a pile of broken glass before rolling into the street and getting mauled by a garbage truck, and living a life of mutilated and incapacitated misery.
Sick twisted *****. Scumbag.
I have zero tolerance for animal abuse.
Zero.
Makes me so sick, when I first heard this I literally wanted to go find the ***** and punch her in the face.

Good ole Skelden representation of white trash who lives up to the nickname. I wonder how many fathers are involved and whether our tax money is supporting this dirtbag to keep having kids for two decades and train them to be animal killers and abusers and generally worthless human beings who should never have been born. Way to go, Sharon!
I hope Rescue Ink gets ahold of her and gives her a good talking to.
We should watch this and see where it goes and write letters to the judge letting him/her know we want the harshest punishment possible.

This lady should have her kids taken away. Period. Clearly an unfit mother and mentally and/or emotionally disturbed. Oh and I hope they put her head in a vise.

Agreed. She's done plenty of damage to them. Some of them are adults though (21) and cannot be taken away from her. |

Makes me wonder if there have been any "missing" kids or adults near her that she should be investigated for!!!
Serial killers tend to start out torturing, maiming, and killing animals and then either graduate altogether to serial murder of humans OR still continue to target animals throughout their human serial killer careers.

As per Newsday, she pled not guilty:
Sharon McDonough, wearing a black sweatshirt and track pants, said little during her brief appearance in District Court in Central Islip Sunday. Judge Stephen Behar released her on her own recognizance. She is due back in court Tuesday.
I smell slap on the wrist time! What is wrong with these judges? ROR?
There were pics in Newsday of this big pig in the typical fat slob dirtbag "uniform," a sweatshirt and sweatpants. Ewww!
Also, in none of the accounts I have read so far, did it mention that her minor children were taken away from her. The only things taken away were her pets, not her kids.
IS SUFFOLK COUNTY DEPT. OF SOCIAL SERVICES ASLEEP AT THE SWITCH?
Hello, here are kids that were forced to assist their mother in torturing and killing animals and they are living in a house with mass graves in the backyard and she's still got them????
