Default House price change
Maybe some of the resident RE agents here could clue me on something. Recently there was a price reduction on a home for $1.00. No you are not seeing things. That is 1 dollar. Is there a method to this?

Ha !! I am no REA but yeah I have seen this happen not at a $1 level but by $100.
And then they would decrease the price by $100 every day so that it will show up in the "Price Reduced" list on all the real estate engines....
This way your house will be on that list for more than 6 months if you are dropping your price by 20K.
Not sure if its a smart strategy, as I really got sick of it seeing it everyday on my list

It is a way for the listing to show on Price Changes, a daily report we (RE agents) receive.

It is dumb, frankly.

Actually, at $1 per day, you'd only have to wait 274 days!!!
